PERSPECTIVE

As a child to parents who immigrated to the US from Lebanon to escape civil war, and after attending 6 different schools in Charlotte before graduating from Harding University HS, Belal's life experiences led him to always seek connection with other people and taught him the immense truth in the phrase "we are all in this together." These lessons stayed with him after high school when he attended Davidson College, and then earned his law degree from UNC Chapel Hill, consistently volunteering in pro bono clinics and serving on the program's Executive Board.

Thanks to his childhood and educational journey, Belal will bring compassion, connectedness, and accessibility to people of all backgrounds and experiences.
